ppCOOLTECH Srl, a company specialised in the production of components and systems for the liquid cooling of electrical and electronic devices, is seeking a MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER /p pThe selected candidate will join the Technical Department and will be responsible for carrying out projects in accordance with the company's economic and procedural constraints.
/p h3Duties and Responsibilities /h3 ul liReceiving and discussing requirements with the customer.
/li liDesigning technical solutions.
/li liCreating 3D designs of products/machines.
/li liProducing 2D construction drawings with related production/testing/inspection notes.
/li liConsulting with colleagues from the Production and Quality departments.
/li liRecording items in both the 3D databases and management systems and entering the main description fields.
/li liComplying with NPI processes and participation in reviews.
/li liSupervising the prototype production phase in close contact with the Production team.
/li liSupporting suppliers of custom-designed pieces to ensure the correct manufacturing of pieces.
/li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or other degree, but with in-depth expertise in the areas listed below (master's degree preferred).




/li liPrevious experience in mechanical design with 2D/3D SolidWorks.
/li liPrevious experience in FEM design is preferred.
/li liKnowledge of simulation and calculation tools (MATLAB and SIMULINK) is preferred.
/li liKnowledge of machinery directives and certifications according to CE/UL/CSA standards is preferred.
/li liPrevious experience in the design of hydraulic and/or thermal systems is preferred.
/li liGood knowledge of spoken and written English.
/li liExcellent interpersonal, empathy and communication skills.
