Network Technician (Freelance | Onsite IT Support)
Job Description
We are seeking Network Technicians to deliver onsite IT and network support at the sites of a major international retail client.
This is a freelance, as-needed engagement.
Assignments will be assigned according to your location and availability.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver onsite IT and network support at client locations.
Identify and fix network and connectivity problems.
Set up and replace routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, and other IT hardware.
Carry out hardware upgrades and break/fix repairs.
Fill out service reports and update support tickets following each visit.
Work alongside remote support teams to resolve technical problems.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in onsite IT or network support.
Solid understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN.




Familiarity with Cisco, HP, Aruba, Fortinet, or similar vendors.
Strong troubleshooting and communication abilities.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
Fluent in Italian.
Strong English skills (required).
Preferred Qualifications
CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or a comparable networking certification.
Background in IT support for retail stores or retail settings.
