Offer Description The project examines how social norms shape women's economic and political participation in Kenya, Indonesia, and Nepal. In Kenya, it will evaluate interventions to promote more inclusive workplaces, such as lactation rooms, and their effects on women's labor market outcomes. In Indonesia,



it will investigate the relationship between female labor force participation and religious veiling among Muslim women. In Nepal, it will test strategies to increase women's participation in representative politics. The Pre-doc will work closely with the researchers and survey firms, supporting data collection and quality monitoring, questionnaire programming, data cleaning and preliminary analysis, project documentation, and literature reviews, gaining hands-on experience in large-scale field research and the management of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in development economics.
