As Sales Area Manager for Rome and South Italy, you drive revenue growth for Infinidat’s enterprise storage solutions. You work with a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer and Channel Manager to execute territory plans, manage complex sales cycles, and close opportunities in large accounts. You build strategic relationships with prospects, customers, and partners, traveling regularly to meet stakeholders. You’ll lead new logo acquisition, RFP/RFI responses, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver customer-centric solutions.

Achieve quota for enterprise storage platforms through direct sales and partners

Identify, develop, and close new enterprise accounts with a focus on new logos

Develop proposals and deliver compelling presentations to prospects and customers

Drive development of customer, partner, and ecosystem relationships

Engage senior executives and decision-makers to advance opportunities

Coordinate RFP/RFI and Tender responses with partners and internal teams

Manage customer and partner satisfaction within the territory

Position the platform’s value to win new business opportunities





Penetrate large enterprise accounts and create opportunities within existing customers

Influence stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives

Foster cross-functional alignment and leverage internal resources to drive results

5-10 years of quota-carrying sales experience in enterprise storage or technology sales

Proven success selling enterprise data storage solutions and managing complex sales cycles

Strong relationships in the territory and ability to generate new business

Track record of opening new accounts and meeting/exceeding sales targets

Ability to engage with executives and technical stakeholders

Proven qualification, development, and closing of opportunities with partners and internal teams

Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills

Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce

Experience with storage vendors or partners (EMC, HDS, IBM, HP, NetApp) is preferred

Authorized to work in Italy

Experience driving pre/post-sales lifecycle and competitive displacement campaigns

Experience working with channel and business partners
