We are looking for a
Postdoctoral Researcher
to join the Neurophysics group at the
Center for Mind/Brain Sciences (CIMeC), University of Trento, Rovereto (Italy)
.
Responsibilities
The researcher will take a leading role in the
TransFly
project, which investigates how
seasonal adaptation
reshapes
sensory processing
and
behaviour
in the invasive fruit fly
Drosophila suzukii
.
The project combines
functional calcium imaging
,
behavioural experiments
,
transgenic Drosophila models
, and
computational data analysis
in a highly interdisciplinary research environment.
Qualifications
We welcome applicants with a background in
neuroscience, neurobiology, biotechnology, biophysics,
or related disciplines.
Experience in the following areas is particularly desirable:
Advanced fluorescence microscopy
Functional calcium imaging
Drosophila genetics
Behavioural neuroscience
Quantitative data analysis and scientific programming
