Summary Description:
The Tax Specialist will report to the Tax Director responsible for Tax Planning and Group Tax Accounting.
The role requires a good background on direct and indirect taxes laws procedures with an Italian focus, and solid understanding of tax accounting concepts and experience with financial reporting within a multinational enterprise.
Responsibilities include:
• Support the implementation of the Group's Tax Strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, financial targets, and applicable domestic and international tax regulations.
• Support tax analyses and planning activities related to business initiatives and extraordinary transactions, assessing tax risks and opportunities while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Monitor changes in national and international tax legislation, accounting standards and tax reporting requirements, supporting the assessment of their impact and the implementation of related actions within the Group's tax processes and control framework.
• Support tax aspects related to the establishment, restructuring, and ongoing operations of Group entities across multiple jurisdictions,
promoting tax-efficient and sustainable operating models.
• Contribute to the preparation and review of the Group's quarterly and annual tax reporting package, including effective tax rate analysis, tax provisions, uncertain tax positions, and tax-related disclosures for statutory and consolidated financial statements.
• Analyze the drivers of the Group's Effective Tax Rate (ETR), identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting initiatives aimed at optimizing the Group's overall tax profile in line with business objectives and governance principles.
• Support the continuous enhancement of the Group's tax accounting, reporting, and governance framework, strengthening internal controls, process efficiency, transparency, and tax risk management.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 3?5 years income tax and/or tax accounting experience with a large multinational company and/or Big 4 accounting firm with a focus on international taxation.
• Knowledge of IAS 12, IFRIC 23, IAS 34, in alternative ASC 740, Fin 48, Fin 18.
• Degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting; Law Degree or Masters degree in Taxation preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
• CPA certification or relevant certification.
• Exposure to multi-national environment and availability for international travel.
Salary Information:
• Applied Contract: CCSL (Iveco Group Specific Collective Labor Agreement)
• Salary Range: €40,000 – €45,000 gross per year
• Variable Compensation: according to CCSL provisions
