brStreet Smash Burgers is looking for an Accountant for our Italian company, in Milan.
brThis isn't your usual accounting job.
Here you'll build the foundations of Street's numbers in Italy: day-to-day bookkeeping (prima nota), VAT, revenue from stores opening one after another.
You'll work closely with Headquarters and with AI and automation tools in your daily work (yes, in accounting too).

brThe role brYou'll manage the accounting of the Italian company, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and compliance with tax obligations.
You'll be the first accounting hire in Italy, reporting directly to Madrid (Headquarters), with the support of a local tax advisor and structured onboarding from day one.
brKey responsibilities brGeneral accounting (day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable).
brRecording electronic invoices (SDI) and bank reconciliations.
brManaging tax obligations: VAT/LiPe, F24, electronic receipts (corrispettivi telematici), tax and administrative deadlines.
brMonitoring and verifying store revenue (high transaction volumes: daily takings, delivery, meal vouchers, cards).
brSupport in preparing the annual financial statements.




brSupport in implementing the group's new ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central): opening balances, master data, testing.
brWorking with the tax advisor, auditors and Headquarters.
brRequirements brAt least 2 years of experience in Italian accounting.
brAccounting diploma (Ragioneria) and/or a degree in Economics.
brExcellent knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC) and VAT obligations.
brExcellent command of Excel.
brExperience with management software/ERP.
brNative-level Italian; English at B2 level (daily use with Headquarters).
brAccuracy, reliability and respect for deadlines.
brAbility to work independently and liaise with different departments.
brNice to have brExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
brExperience in the restaurant or multi-site retail sector.
brExperience in cost accounting or management control.
brFamiliarity with analysis and automation tools (Python, R, AI tools).
brGood knowledge of Spanish.
