Emeren's Italy team is looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Milan, Italy, in order to support Emeren’s rapidly growing solar and storage business and contribute to the transition to a low carbon, sustainable economy. /pp

The Project Engineer will work in tandem with a senior profile, in order to acquire autonomy and learn by doing. /ppbr/ppstrong

Duties and Responsibilities /strong /pulli

Support in managing projects and interfacing with engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil and environmental), legal and financial teams and ensuring that pre-established delivery times are respected; /lili

Managing project development up to RTB status, including site visits, risk assessment (technical and economic), vendor management, interaction with the permitting authorities; /lili

Managing the development budget and controlling costs and cash flow within it; /lili

Reporting on the progress of assigned projects in the pipeline; /lili

Managing relationships with external stakeholders, including development partners, public entities (state, regional and local), traders and landowners; /lili

Supporting the preparation of proposals for clients such as due diligence, technical advisory, and other service offerings, and providing inputs for the Emeren internal approval process with the Investment Committee; /lili

Preparing and managing specifications, tendering, negotiation and selection of Engineering, Procurement, Operation Maintenance (OM), EPC and other supply contracts; /lili





Attending internal and external meetings and representing Emeren in a suitable fashion according to the company code of conduct at all times. /li /ulpbr/ppstrong

Qualifications: /strong /pulli

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Architecture, or Management Engineering, or a related field /lili1–2 years of experience in project development and/or project engineering /lili

Basic technical understanding of renewable energy infrastructures and BESS /lili

Good project management skills /lili

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills /lili

Previous experience in solar PV and/or BESS projects, including the project development process in Italy is a nice to have /lili

Experience with permitting processes, including for large-scale infrastructure projects /lili

Knowledge of the electricity market in Italy is a plus, including but not limited to interaction with grid operators (TERNA and E-distribuzione), knowledge of the Italian regulation for permitting (AU, PAUR and PAS) /lili

Fully accustomed to working in an international corporate environment with very good interpersonal and communication skills, strictly following internal processes, respecting compliance policies, etc. /lili
