You will be responsible for managing the design, implementation, and maintenance of mechanical systems that are crucial for optimal data center operations. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to providing high-quality services while adhering to safety and environmental standards. /ph3Key facts /h3ulliLocation: Cornaredo, Lombardy /liliEngagement: Full-time /liliSalary: Competitive, commensurate with experience /liliVisa: Sponsorship available for qualified candidates /li /ulh3What you’ll do /h3ulliLead the design and implementation of mechanical systems for data centers, ensuring they meet operational requirements and industry standards. /liliOversee the maintenance and operation of HVAC systems, chillers, and other critical mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. /liliDevelop and manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of mechanical systems. /liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and structural engineers, to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into overall data center designs. /liliConduct regular audits and inspections of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices. /liliAnalyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary modifications or upgrades.



/liliManage vendor relationships and oversee procurement processes for mechanical equipment and services. /liliProvide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. /liliPrepare and manage budgets related to mechanical operations and maintenance, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented. /liliStay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering, particularly as they relate to data center operations. /liliDevelop and implement emergency response plans for mechanical failures, ensuring minimal impact on data center operations. /liliPrepare detailed reports and documentation related to mechanical systems, including maintenance logs, compliance records, and performance metrics. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. /liliA minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on critical environments or data centers. /liliStrong knowledge of HVAC systems, cooling technologies, and mechanical design principles. /liliProven experience in project management, including overseeing mechanical system installations and upgrades. /liliFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations related to data center operations and safety. /liliExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
