ph3Overview /h3 pWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated bProcess Engineer /b to join our team. This role is crucial for the development of new processes and the continuous improvement of existing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating specifications, conducting studies, sizing equipment, and working closely with various teams to ensure successful project execution. If you are passionate about process optimization, innovation, and driving performance improvements, we want to hear from you. /p pWithin the Technology department, the experienced process and technology engineer works under the supervision of the process technology manager. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liPerform development of new process and improvement of existing process : /li liWrite the specifications for the studies entrusted /li liProduce material and utility balances (which will be used by operators to operate the unit and define the material cost) /li liSpecify and carry out the sizing of equipment / installations, regardless of their complexity, by calling on the necessary support skills /li liIn coordination with RD team, validate the feasibility of new process or process improvements /li liEstablish PFD and PID diagrams, issue process description and associated operating manuals /li liPerforms preliminary safety analyzes and participate to HAZOP reviews / Design and checking of pressure relieving devices /li liTrain future users about the equipment installed /li liProposes idea for lab or pilot trials based on industrial issues /li liPerforms process studies to support RD development projects (new pMMA grades industrialization).



/li liMay be required to functionally supervise the work of process trainees/internship /li liParticipate to the implementation of new investment projects, managed by the Technical Office /li liContribute to all steps of the project: from the design of future equipment to the calculation of variable costs. /li liDetailed design the equipment /li liCollaborate with the engineering companies to which certain services are entrusted. Validate the issued documents, meet suppliers and carry out safety studies /li liFollow the construction phase /li liCan also work in conjunction with the Trinseo Global Manufacturing and Engineering project team, train engineers who will work on such project. /li liPrepare the Process Design Package in collaboration with the technical office /li liSet up test runs (definition of goals, sampling and analysis plan, additional data collection on the field, interpretation of results, etc.). /li liEnsure that the equipment starts up on time, with the expected product quality and within the defined production capacities. /li liSupply operational support, coordinate action plans and improve performance. /li liAnalyze complex workshop malfunctioning (troubleshooting),



suggest solutions to solve them and coordinate their implementation /li liPropose and study improvements by implementing the Management Of Change process /li liImplement best practices in the studies for which the jobholder is responsible. /li liMaintain process documentation for the existing workshop and for engineering project /li liInvestigate new technology in the market to improve performances or solve recurrent issues in the existing workshop /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. /li liProven experience in process engineering, ideally in an industrial setting. /li liStrong knowledge of process design, equipment sizing, and safety analysis. /li liFamiliarity with creating and interpreting PFDs, PIDs, and process descriptions. /li liExperience with safety reviews (HAZOP) and pressure relief device design. /li liStrong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues. /li liAbility to work effectively within cross-functional teams. /li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. /li liPrevious experience with RD support and process optimization projects is a plus. /li /ul pGood driving ability of several projects in parallel, as well as supporting the production team in term of troubleshooting and performances optimization. /p pFluent English and Italian /p pThe base salary range for this role is € 42.000 – € 52.000. The final offer within this range will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications and internal alignment criteria.
