ph3Position Summary /h3 pRivoli, IT, 10098 /p pRequisition: 65851 /p pThe Senior Advanced Purchasing Specialist is accountable for high performance and electrification programs and the involvement within multi-functional teams to ensure success of program(s) across Light Vehicle Europe plants. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport successful product launch for new programs with regards to budget, planning, scheduling, stakeholder satisfaction. /li liAssist in the compilation of the overall program budget for supply chain costs. /li liChallenge the organization on design to manufacture philosophy which will enable a stable process for serial production and a cost-effective design (VA/VE). /li liSupport regular cross functional Product Launch Team (PLT) meetings to review the program schedule and assign resources to address any open issues. Escalate issues affecting successful Purchasing supply chain delivery. /li liDistribute, follow up and co-ordinate sourcing and costing tasks within global purchasing organization for more conventional category purchased items, like fasteners, bearings, seals etc. /li liProcurement and cost modeling of more advanced product specific categories like geared products, aluminum castings and power electronics in line with global commodity strategy. /li liResponsible for prototype sourcing, launch management, ordering and follow up. /li liLead the launch management activities for Purchasing across Advanced Purchasing LV Europe working with Purchasing Programme Managers and Production Buyers to ensure successful build phase parts delivery on each programme. /li liIdentify program risks and establish suitable contingency plans with the team.
/li liLead the change management within the core team across different platform /li /ul h3Main Opportunities and Challenges /h3 pThe candidate will have the opportunity to work in a stimulating environment with the possibility to learn about different technologies that apply to a complex product such as Automotive High Performance transmissions and electric drive units. /p h3Requirements /h3 ul liUniversity Master Degree in Engineering/Economic /li liThe candidate needs to have a good Purchasing background in structured automotive company (5 years) working within Purchasing environment /li liExperience with electrical/electronic components or electrified systems is strongly preferred. /li liExperience in supplier management and cross-functional collaboration. /li liExposure to new product development and industrialization processes. /li /ul h3Skills /h3 pHard skills: /p pEssential: /p ul liBasic knowledge of Supply Chain, Procurement and Change Management experience. /li liProblem solving skills. /li liBasic negotiations skill /li liExcellent office package knowledge /li liFluent English /li /ul pConsidered As a Plus: /p ul liSAP tool /li liExperience with global sourcing and supply chain risk management /li liFamiliarity with automotive quality standards (PPAP, APQP)
