And that's where you come in. /p h3Job Description: /h3 pThe bComponent Engineer /b is responsible for standardizing, selecting, validating, and managing components, ensuring they meet quality, cost, regulatory, and availability requirements. /p h3Essential Duties and Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop, maintain, and unify standardized component requirements and material specifications across global products and projects to ensure consistency and quality /li liProactively mitigate supply chain risks by monitoring obsolescence, shortages, and identifying suitable alternatives /li liAnalyze technical specifications, interpret test results, select and qualify components by component and/or product technical specifications /li liProvide technical guidance and support to supply chain, project and manufacturing teams /li liProvide technical expertise by identifying, assessing, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure consistency and quality /li liManage documentation, including datasheets, end-of-life notices, and change histories /li liEnsure components meet applicable internal and external regulations and quality standards /li liInvestigate component issues, perform failure analysis, and establish corrective actions /li liWork closely with design engineers to select parts that meet performance requirements, while considering availability, cost and compliance, helping prevent delays,
