Not funded by a EU programme Is the Job related to staff position within a Research Infrastructure? No /p h3Offer Description /h3 pThis research program (code FIS- ) focuses on multiscale brain modeling for applications in Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) in patients with Parkinson's disease. The activitybr/aims to develop next-generation computational frameworks capable of reproducing and predicting the neural effects of DBS protocols with high biological realism.br/The work involves modeling neuronal activity using spiking neural networks and, subsequently, mean-field models of the main brain regions involved in DBS, with particular attention to thebr/characterization of stimulation-induced dynamics. The project also includes the reconstruction of brain microstructure using advancedbr/magnetic resonance imaging techniques and structural image processing pipelines. These elements will support realistic subject-specific DBS simulations and lay the groundwork forbr/clinically relevant applications. /p pThe public call with detailed attendance and selection rules (Art 4 and 6) can be found at: selections are open to candidates, Italian or foreigner, in possession, on the date of the deadline for submitting applications for the admission to the selection, of a research doctorate (PhD) or equivalent qualification obtained abroad, or, for the sectors concerned, a medical specialization qualification. The educational qualification has to concern the research theme.
