Plan the Delivery of Europe's Most Advanced Data Centre Projects
We are working with leading contractors, engineering consultancies, and data centre developers to recruit experienced Data Centre Project Planners for major hyperscale and mission-critical construction projects across Europe.
As demand for cloud computing, AI, and digital infrastructure continues to accelerate, we're looking for planning professionals who have a proven track record of delivering complex data centre programmes. This is an opportunity to join high-profile projects from pre-construction through to commissioning, working alongside some of the industry's most experienced delivery teams.
The Role
As a Data Centre Project Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project programmes, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and ensuring key milestones are achieved throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Commercial Teams, and subcontractors, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of large-scale mission-critical facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.
- Monitor project progress, analyse critical path activities, and identify programme risks and opportunities.
- Produce look-ahead schedules, progress reports, and programme updates for internal and client stakeholders.
- Work closely with construction, commercial, and engineering teams to ensure programme objectives are achieved.
- Support planning activities from design and procurement through construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Identify programme delays and develop recovery plans to minimise project impact.
- Assist with change management, extension of time (EOT) assessments, and programme revisions.
- Attend planning and coordination meetings, providing accurate schedule analysis and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience planning data centre, mission-critical, or large-scale MEP/CSA construction projects.
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and critical path methodology.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, commissioning, and project delivery.
- Experience managing complex project programmes within fast-paced construction environments.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams and clients.
Desirable Experience
- Hyperscale or colocation data centre projects.
- Experience with Tier 1 contractors, specialist MEP contractors, or EPC organisations.
- Knowledge of NEC, FIDIC, or other major construction contracts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Power BI, BIM, or 4D planning tools.
- Experience supporting programme recovery, delay analysis, or claims.
Why Join?
This is an opportunity to work on some of Europe's largest and most technically complex data centre developments, supporting projects that underpin AI, cloud computing, and global digital infrastructure.
With long-term contract opportunities, competitive day rates, and exposure to industry-leading clients, you'll be part of projects shaping the future of mission-critical construction.
If you have experience delivering complex data centre programmes and are looking for your next contract opportunity, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
