ph3Controls Engineer – Demo Vehicles New Customer Pursuits /h3 pHe will be responsible for developing, integrating, and validating control systems for demonstration of vehicles and customer evaluation programs. This role supports new business opportunities by delivering high-quality vehicle demonstrations, customizing control strategies to meet customer requirements, and providing technical expertise throughout the customer pursuit process. The engineer works closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful prototype development, vehicle commissioning, and customer presentations. If you meet these requirements, and believe you have a passion for making a real difference in an industry, we would like to hear from you. /p h3Location /h3 pTurin, IT /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, develop, calibrate, and validate control algorithms for demonstration and prototype vehicles. /li liConfigure and integrate electronic control units (ECUs), sensors, actuators, and communication networks such as CAN, CAN‑FD, etc… /li liSupport customer demonstrations by preparing vehicles, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring reliable system performance. /li liCustomize software features and control strategies based on customer‑specific requirements. /li liCollaborate with systems, software, mechanical, electrical, and validation teams to deliver fully functional demonstration vehicles. /li liPerform system integration, debugging, and root cause analysis for hardware and software issues. /li liSupport test plans for functional verification, vehicle testing, and customer acceptance activities. /li liAnalyze vehicle data, interpret test results, and recommend improvements to system performance. /li liSupport prototype builds, vehicle commissioning, and field testing activities. /li liParticipate in customer meetings, technical reviews,
and product demonstrations to explain system functionality and capabilities. /li liProvide technical support during new customer pursuits, including proof‑of‑concept activities, feasibility studies, and technical proposal development. /li liMaintain technical documentation, calibration records, software releases, and validation reports. /li liEnsure compliance with company development processes, quality standards, and functional safety requirements where applicable. /li liTravel as needed to customer locations, test facilities, and demonstration events. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster Engineering Degree in Automotive, Mechanics, mechatronics, computer engineering / software engineering / computer science or equivalent. /li liExperience developing vehicle control systems or embedded control software. /li liStrong knowledge of vehicle electronics, ECUs, and communication protocols. /li liExperience with MATLAB/Simulink, model‑based development, or similar control system development tools. /li liKnowledge on C, C++. /li liFamiliarity with calibration and diagnostic tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, or equivalent. /li liExperience with system integration, troubleshooting, and vehicle testing. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills. /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills. /li liAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced development environment. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualification /h3 ul liExperience supporting automotive prototypes or demonstration vehicles. /li liKnowledge of electric, hybrid, or autonomous vehicle control systems. /li liFamiliarity with automotive development standards, including ASPICE, ISO 26262, or Automotive SPICE. /li liExperience with HIL/SIL testing and automation. /li liUnderstanding of customer product development and technical sales support processes. /li liExperience working directly with OEMs or Tier 1 automotive suppliers. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
