Piacenza The resource, reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Engineer - Supplier, will have the following responsibilities: - Maintain and update supplier rating and corrective action records; monitor and analyse records to identify/prevent main criticality and ensure supplier capability of consistently meet the requirements.
- Develop long‐term supplier relationships; establish specific short / medium term supplier quality goals; support the understanding of engineering and manufacturing specs to supplier technical teams.
- Maintain and update supplier audit system and schedule dedicated audit for historical and new suppliers; travel to supplier locations to carry out process and quality system audits.
- Participate in the development, management, and maintenance of Quality strategy, processes and guidelines within Global Quality and expand a continuous improvement culture.

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other related field with than 2-3 years related experience in “Supplier Quality " or equivalent combination of education and experience; preferably oriented into machining and welding processes.
- The ability to manage multiple quality projects and sites with the flexibility to respond to a dynamic and multicultural environment.
- Must be fluent in English.
- The ability to read technical drawings and standards.
- Knowledge of various quality tools: 8D, Lean, 5 Why’s, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, DFMEA, PFEMA, PPAP, etc. (preferred). **PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS**: - Results oriented and organized with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines.
