At Safe Fleet, we build technology that connects vehicles, data and decisions. Our platform processes large volumes of telematics data from connected vehicles and transforms them into insights for companies managing fleets. We’re looking for a Senior Product / Backend Engineer who wants to take ownership of real product problems and help us evolve our platform with data, Io T and AI. What you’ll do Design and build backend services for our telematics and data platform Work with streaming and large-scale vehicle data Contribute to AI-powered features across the product Build reliable infrastructure and APIs powering the Safe Fleet platform Design and manage data models and storage using databases such as Postgre SQL and Mongo DB Take ownership of features from idea to production What we’re looking for Strong experience with Python (especially async frameworks) Experience with data processing, streaming or Io T systems Solid infrastructure knowledge: Linux, Docker,



AWS Experience working with databases such as Postgre SQL and Mongo DB Product mindset and strong sense of ownership Interest in AI and how it can improve real products Team player, enthusiastic and motivated to build things that matter Nice to have Experience with event-driven architectures Familiarity with AI APIs / LLM integrations Experience working with high-volume data systems What we value We care about engineers who: take responsibility for the product, not just the code like working collaboratively in small, focused teams are curious and excited about new technologies like AI Location: Italy / Remote-friendly.
