In this role, you will design and build scalable data pipelines and AI-powered solutions, transforming complex datasets into reliable products and actionable insights. - Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time ingestion, transformation, and processing.
- Develop robust data models and integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
- Develop, integrate, and deploy machine learning and generative AI solutions aligned with business needs.
- Implement automated testing, versioning, deployment, monitoring, and performance optimisation across data and AI workflows.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, reliable, and production-ready solutions.

What we expect from you

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in data engineering,



machine learning engineering, AI engineering, or a related role.
- Strong programming skills in Python and solid knowledge of SQL.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data modelling, APIs, and distributed data processing technologies such as Spark.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform—Azure, AWS, or GCP—and its data and AI services
- Knowledge of data lake, data warehouse, or lakehouse architectures and familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow or equivalent.
- Understanding of machine learning workflows and experience with libraries or frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices, CI/CD, Docker, model deployment, monitoring, and version control.
- Experience with large language models, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation, or vector databases is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of data quality, governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Fluent Italian and English.
- Relevant cloud, data, or AI certifications are considered a plus.
- Willingness to travel and relocate will be considered a plus.
- Strong motivation to embrace TMC’s Employeneurship model.

What you can expect from us





The position offers a permanent employment contract, and the base gross annual salary (Gross Annual Salary – RAL) will be no less than €35.000, in line with the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for Commerce – Tertiary, Distribution and Services.

TMC is committed to offering a competitive compensation package. At the end of the recruitment process, after assessing the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, the company may offer a final gross annual salary higher than the amount stated above.

In line with our business model, the final compensation package also includes a project profit-sharing component, an individual annual learning and development budget of €4,000 net, and an annual welfare allowance. Further details will be provided during the recruitment process, in accordance with the company's applicable policies.
