How you’ll have an impact at La Marzocco:

The Accounting Associate will support the day-to-day accounting operations of La Marzocco USA, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, financial reporting and month-end close activities. This role will have a primary focus on maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards, and resolving discrepancies. A member of the Finance and Accounting Team, the Accounting Associate reports to the Regional Controller while working closely with and supporting all members of the Accounting & Finance team.

As an Accounting Associate, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

- Entry, reconciliation and maintenance of customs entry documents and vendor accounts.




- Supporting the Assistant Treasurer to ensure all banking entries are up to date including the entry, investigating and reconciliation of a large volume of transactions.
- Supporting both the Assistant Treasurer and Staff Accountant (AP) in maintaining a clean vendor subledger and where necessary customer subledger.
- Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations and other month-end work as needed.
- Provide back-up coverage for team members on leave/vacation, taking on most of their core functions.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, Logistics, Back Office and Parts to gather information and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Contribute to special projects as needed, such as process improvements, system implementations, or financial initiatives. Assist with the annual audits.

What you’ll bring to the table:

- Bachelor’s Degree with an accounting or finance focus is required.
- Previous experience in accounting or related field is desirable but not required, preferably in an office environment working with business-to-business customers.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills required. High degree of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
- Excellent data-entry skills. Experience with Accounting software, SAP Business 1 preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to use phone, email,



and video conference technology to communicate with internal and external parties.
- Flexible, collaborative personality with a strong emphasis on cross-functional communication, internal and external customer service, and responsiveness.

The details:

- Location: Seattle, WA, Ballard HQ
- Compensation Range: $28.00 - $31.00/hour depending on experience, with 5% premio opportunity
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Occasionally, there will be a need for additional hours based upon increasedworkloaddemands.
- Reports to: Regional Controller
- Physical requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time while working at a computer, walking at a quick pace, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 20 pounds
- Travel: This position requires less than 5% travel.
