What are you working on?
- The name of the project(s): AI Gamedev
We're - an early-stage AI/gamedev startup building on-device AI middleware for games. Think of it as “DirectX for AI”: a standardized runtime that lets developers ship local AI models on end-user devices. The technology is real and already running, we have early pilots, investors (EGV), and an Epic MegaGrant.
We're looking for a BD Manager to own outbound, run the sales pipeline, and help us land the next batch of game studios on the engine. You'll work directly with the founders inside a small, horizontal team - no hierarchy, no corporate games, everyone operates as a peer.
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
- Run outbound day-to-day: refine the ICP with the founders, build target account lists, and execute outreach across LinkedIn, email, Discord, and other channels we're experimenting with.
- Write your own copy and run sequences, both manually and with automation tools. Iterate on what works
- Lead discovery calls and demos. You drive the conversation end-to-end. We loop in the technical lead for deeper technical discussions.
- Own the sales pipeline in HubSpot. Keep the CRM clean, track conversion stage by stage, report weekly to the founders
- Drive industry events end-to-end. Build target meeting lists, schedule sessions, organize side events, follow up. PR and event marketing are handled by a separate team - your focus is networking, meetings, and bringing back qualified leads.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with prospects, customers, and partners you've brought in - platform contacts, engine and middleware partners, ecosystem players.
- Use AI as a real productivity multiplier. We already run internal n8n-based workflows and use LLMs across the team - you'll plug into that stack and shape your own tooling.
- Support the founding team with operational work - meeting and trip agendas, event logistics, investor materials, grant applications.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
- 3-5 years in B2B business development, sales, or partnerships, ideally at a tech company (SaaS, dev tools, AI, or similar)
- Track record of outbound, lead generation, and managing a sales pipeline
- Near-native English, both written and spoken. You'll be talking to senior people at studios, investors, and partners - no hand-holding.
- Genuine passion for video games. You actually play, follow the industry, and understand game dev culture.
- Comfortable using AI tools daily (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and similar). Curious about automation - n8n, Make, Zapier, agent frameworks. Experience here is a strong plus; willingness to learn is the baseline.
- Self-starter. You manage your own priorities, drive execution, and close loops without being chased.
- Multitasking with focus. Outbound, events, and ad-hoc operations run in parallel - you can switch context without dropping balls.
- Strong follow-through. You finish what you start. No half-completed tasks, no silent drop-offs.
Nice to have:
- Experience in gaming, dev tools, or AI startups.
- Experience working with international clients and remote teams.
- Experience organizing or attending B2B industry conferences.
Why do we enjoy working here?
What We Offer:
- Equity grant after successful probation.
- Fully remote work, flexible schedule with CET overlap.
- Business trips to top industry events (GDC, Gamescom, ChinaJoy, etc.).
- Small, horizontal team of senior builders - no bosses, no corporate games.
- Real technology that already works. Not another wrapper on top of GPT.
- Minimal bureaucracy, maximum freedom.
