Intertek, Multinational Company leader in ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection, Certification) is seeking an experienced Structural Integrity Engineers for upcoming work related to operational plants, brownfield modifications, and revamp projects across multiple Energy assets. This role focuses on evaluating the structural condition of existing facilities, assessing degradation, verifying load capacity, and supporting engineering decisions related to life extension, structural tie-ins and structural reliability.
The Structural Integrity Engineer provides technical authority in structural assessment, load evaluation, and degradation?related structural engineering, ensuring that all recommendations are technically defensible, compliant with international codes, and aligned with Client integrity requirements.
Responsibilities Perform structural integrity assessments for non?pressurized structural elements, including pipe racks, platforms, walkways, supports, buildings, foundations, and steel frames
Evaluate corrosion?related section loss, deformation, vibration issues, and structural overstress conditions
Conduct load evaluations (dead, live, thermal, wind, seismic, equipment loads) for existing structures
Assess structural adequacy for revamp scopes, equipment replacement, and structural tie?ins
Support API 579 Part 5/9 assessments only where applicable to structural components (e.g., local thin areas, crack?like flaws)
Review legacy structural drawings, as?built documentation, and field measurements to validate structural capacity
Evaluate use of existing structures for new loads or modified operating conditions
Provide structural input to revamp engineering packages, MOCs, and tie?in feasibility studies
Support temporary works, lifting studies, and construction?related structural checks
Interpret inspection data and correlate degradation mechanisms with structural performance
Prepare structural assessment reports, engineering justifications, and recommendations for repair, reinforcement, or replacement
Interface with Mechanical, Corrosion, Process, and Inspection teams to resolve data gaps and ensure alignment
Ensure compliance with Eurocodes, AISC, ASCE, API, and Client standards

Minimum 5 years demonstrable experience acting as Structural Integrity Engineer.
Experience with structural analysis software for assessment?level calculations
Chartered Engineer (CEng / PE / EUR Ing) or equivalent.
API 579 familiarity (Parts 5 & 9) is an advantage
Training in structural assessment, Eurocodes, or API/ASME integrity standards
Strong understanding of structural analysis principles, load combinations, and code?based assessment methods
Proficiency in evaluating non?pressurized structural elements: steel structures, concrete structures, pipe racks, platforms, supports, and foundations
Ability to assess corrosion, section loss, deformation, vibration, and fatigue?related issues
Familiarity with operational constraints, plant walkdowns, and brownfield engineering practices
Working knowledge of integrity management systems and inspection workflows
