We are looking for a Senior R&D; Engineer to join our Capsules Business Unit, playing a key role in delivering new product solutions from concept to industrial validation. The role is based in Bodio Lomnago (VA). Your Mission Drive product innovation and ensure disciplined, execution-focused R&D; activities - delivering robust, scalable solutions across our global industrial footprint. What You’ll Do * Lead innovation and customer-driven development projects from concept to industrial validation * Apply structured Innovation & Product Development processes (stage-gate approach) * Ensure clear documentation, milestone tracking, and project progression * Evaluate industrial feasibility (materials, processes, product solutions) * Coordinate validation plans (mechanical, environmental, durability testing)
* Identify technical risks and contribute to mitigation strategies * Support root cause analysis when needed * Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, and Operations teams * Ensure alignment across multiple international sites * Provide structured reporting to Group R&D; Who You Are * Degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Chemical Engineering * 5–9 years of experience in a manufacturing environment * Proven experience in product innovation and development projects * Strong project management skills (planning, coordination, execution) * Experience with multi-component industrial products * Comfortable working in cross-functional and international environments * Fluent in English and Italian, other languages would be an asset Salary package: CCNL Gomma Plastica, €40.000 -€50.000 Crealis Group is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is valued and given equal opportunities to succeed.
