Provides Financial support to the Commercial Manufacturing Outsourcing Division. The Monza site forms a critical part of the Drug Product Division network supporting both commercial manufacturing and provision of Drug Product Services. It has a track record of successful performance, and a clear plan to deliver significant capacity expansion, resulting in strong top and bottom line growth. The site will become one of the largest in the Thermofisher network with well over 1,000 FTEs. **ASSIGNMENTS, SPECIFIC/PRIMARY ACTIVITIES**: - Financial business partner to the Site General Manager and site leadership team for both DPS and PDS with a strategic and operational orientation; an ability to serve General Manager, helping to craft the short
- and strategic direction of the Site.
- Leads and develops Finance team on site and participates into Finance Leadership and Development forums across the group.
- Financial management and control of large capital investment programs.
- Excellent analytical, forecasting and financial modelling skills, with the ability to translate situations into information that will support the profitability and growth of the business.
- Ensure and/or conduct timely and accurate accounting closes, report preparation and distribution,



and decision support financial analyses for all organization entities.
- Collaborating closely with shared service centre and centralized accounting teams and being fully accountable to ensure financial accounting records for the site, are prepared in accordance with company accounting policies (US GAAP), and Italian GAAP for statutory purposes
- Head the annual budgeting process
- Maintain documentation of efficient accounting processes and policies including but not limited to relevant GAAP, SOX and internal policies
- Assure that all regulatory requirements are met
- Lead and develop subordinate staff, providing for mentor and professional development opportunities as appropriate **REQUIREMENTS**:
**Studies / Diploma / Training courses**: - Bachelor Degree with advanced degree or experience and/or CIMA certified **Technical and IT knowledge**: - Knowledge and skill gained through broad or deep experience in field(s) requiring a command of either involved, diverse practices and precedents or scientific theory and principles or both.
- Strong finance and accounting background - Technical Accounting.
- Confirmed management/supervisory skills, persuades others to achieve excellence and to develop an environment of collaboration
- Confirmed understanding base and working skills with cost accounting, product costing and analysis, standard setting, COGS, inventory accounting, manufacturing variances analysis
- Expense and Capital budgeting and accounting knowledge **Professional experience**:
