In this pivotal role, you will take charge of our expansion efforts, effectively navigating the intricacies of local healthcare systems to position our rehabilitation operating system as a benchmark for both clinical and administrative processes.

What you'll do Conduct thorough analyses of regional healthcare frameworks, funding mechanisms, and procurement methods within the Servizio Sanitario Nazionale to validate market-entry assumptions.
Build and nurture relationships with clinic networks, rehabilitation service providers, professional associations, and payers to facilitate collaboration and partnerships.
Lead negotiations for commercial agreements to secure initial pilot projects and outline a scalable sales strategy tailored to the Italian market.
Ensure that all operational activities comply with local data protection laws, regulatory requirements, and reimbursement protocols.
Offer valuable insights into local clinical workflows to inform product adaptations and enhancements.
Transition from a role focused on individual contributions to one where you will build and manage a local team, taking full responsibility for profit and loss (P&L;).




Collaborate closely with the Merantix AI Campus team to align product offerings with market needs and ensure successful implementation.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
Represent FICUS Health at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility and establish thought leadership in the rehabilitation sector.
Develop training materials and resources to support the onboarding of new team members and partners.
Regularly report on progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
Requirements A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the Italian healthcare or rehabilitation industry, with a background in clinic management, healthcare consulting, market access, or digital health commercial roles.
In-depth understanding of the decision-making processes within both national and regional healthcare systems in Italy.
A proven track record of successfully launching new markets, developing business units, or creating partnership frameworks from inception.
A well-established network of professional contacts among key Italian healthcare stakeholders, including hospital groups and regional authorities.




Strong ability to navigate ambiguous situations and independently develop strategic plans.
Proficiency in Italian and a professional level of English communication skills.
Willingness to travel frequently within Italy and to our headquarters in Berlin for collaboration and meetings.
Nice to have Knowledge of the German language would be advantageous.
Experience with digital health technologies and their implementation in clinical settings.
Familiarity with the regulatory landscape for healthcare products in Italy.
Skills & tools Expertise in strategic market analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
Strong commercial negotiation skills to foster partnerships and secure agreements.
