Experteer Overview In this role you drive CMRE's financial planning and budget execution as part of the Budget & Finance team. You collaborate with project managers and requirement holders to prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost metrics. You will produce management-friendly reports, support audits, and provide strategic financial advice to senior leaders. The opportunity combines international governance, complex budgeting, and financial data analysis in a mission-driven maritime research context. Retribuzione / Benefits * Contribute to budget lifecycle activities for CMRE charge?out rates, customer rates, budgets, and multi?year forecasts * Review inputs from requirement holders and coordinate with project managers for necessary updates * Monitor budget execution and prepare monthly and periodic reports for management * Analyze commitments and manage accruals, carry?forwards,



and lapses; support year?end close and notes for financial statements * Develop short? and medium?range financial forecasts and perform statistical analyses * Create data views and visualizations to support management decisions * Assist project managers in developing accurate cost metrics for proposals * Provide high?level financial advisory support to Head of Finance and senior managers * Support external and internal auditors during reviews Responsabilità * Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting, budgeting, financial management, or auditing * Knowledge of financial regulations governing international or public sector organizations * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, financial worksheets) * Good knowledge of ERP/financial systems such as ORACLE Financial or equivalent * Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field * English language proficiency; knowledge of NATO languages is essential * Ability to travel for TDYs within and outside NATO boundaries Requisiti fondamentali * Salary in EUR (per **** scales) * Generous annual leave * Expatriate package where eligible * Comprehensive NATO allowances and insurances * Three?year definite duration contract #J-*****-Ljbffr
