An innovative and rapidly growing company specialized in the design, integration, and delivery of advanced solutions in the aerospace sector has commissioned us to search for, as part of a team expansion, an
IT SPECIALIST
with a solid background as a Systems Administrator, who will focus on managing on-premise, cloud, and network infrastructure, actively contributing to defining and structuring the company's IT standards.
The role is designed to grow alongside the company: starting from a solid infrastructure and networking foundation, it genuinely opens up the possibility of expanding, over time, into the Application component as well, offering the opportunity to broaden one's scope of expertise and impact.
The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring system security and operational continuity, working closely with internal stakeholders and security functions, in a context where it will also be possible to actively contribute to building processes and procedures that are still to be consolidated.
Rather than highly specialized technical expertise, we are looking for someone with a practical, hands?on approach, who has the attitude to tackle problems directly and find solutions.
Specifically, over time, the person will have the opportunity to work on:
Configuration, protection, and secure maintenance of Microsoft and Linux operating systems, on-premise and in cloud environments, in compliance with industry security standards.
Management of network infrastructure: routing, IP addressing, traffic filtering (firewall/ACL), and basic configuration of networking equipment.
Monitoring, support,
and maintenance of IT infrastructure, helping to build and consolidate processes and procedures in a rapidly growing context.
Support for virtualization environments and management of user accounts/access groups, where present: this is a plus, not an essential requirement.
Data protection activities and support for regulatory compliance (GDPR, ISO *****, NIS2), including support for audits and security documentation.
Backup management and support for Infrastructure as Code practices.
Continuous security improvement, threat monitoring, proactive risk reduction, and participation in security awareness initiatives.
Internal implementation of a ticketing system and, when required, providing help?desk support.
Gradually supporting the Application component (management software, company tools) as the role becomes more established.
Skills and profile:
3-4 years of experience as a Systems Administrator / IT Specialist / IT Infrastructure Engineer, preferably within industrial sectors in aerospace or high?tech.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems and cloud environments.
Basic networking knowledge: routing, IP addressing, and traffic filtering.
Experience with virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper?V, or similar), user and access group management, and directory federation (e.g., Azure Active Directory) is welcome but not essential.
Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
Driving license and own vehicle.
A drive to solve problems: this is the most important trait.
Strong collaboration and proactivity.
Curiosity and openness to gradually expanding one's role toward the Application component over time.
Nice to have:
Experience in regulated or industrial sectors;
Prior experience in aerospace or other high?tech sectors.
What we offer:
Contratto Terziario – Confcommercio (national collective labor agreement/CCNL), with compensation based on experience and skills.
Reference gross annual salary (RAL) range: €33,******,000 + additional private health insurance, on top of the coverage provided by the national collective labor agreement.
Up to €2,000 per year in Welfare benefits.
Great opportunities for professional growth and technical leadership, in a rapidly expanding company where it will be possible to help strengthen the IT function.
A dynamic and innovative work environment in the aerospace sector.
Work location:
The indicated RAL is approximate and takes into account internal salary equity and market trends; it will be tailored based on the profile of the selected candidate, their background, the level of autonomy they will be given, and the training support they will need to receive.
