/p h3Role Purpose /h3 pThe Planner Inventory Manager is responsible for bend-to-end planning and inventory optimization /b, ensuring product availability, production feasibility, and inventory health while balancing service level, cost, and working capital objectives.
/p pThis role combines bdemand and supply planning /b with boperational inventory management /b, acting as a key interface between commercial demand and operational execution.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Planning Scheduling /h3 ul liDevelop and maintain bproduction and supply plans /b aligned with demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and material availability /li liTranslate sales forecasts and customer requirements into bfeasible production and replenishment plans /b /li liManage bshort-, mid-, and long-term planning horizons /b (daily/weekly/monthly) /li liMonitor plan adherence and proactively manage deviations (capacity, materials, priorities) /li /ul h3Inventory Management /h3 ul liOwn inventory targets and policies (safety stock, reorder points, min/max levels) /li liHelp Optimizing inventory across braw materials, WIP, and finished goods /b /li liBalance service level objectives with bworking capital and obsolescence risk /b /li liPerform regular inventory analysis (slow movers, excess,
obsolete stock) and propose corrective actions /li liManage WH resources in Italy /li /ul h3Cross-Functional Coordination /h3 ul liAct as a key interface between Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Finance /li liSupport SOP processes with accurate data, scenarios, and recommendations /li liAlign priorities in case of constraints, shortages, or demand volatility /li /ul h3Performance Monitoring Reporting /h3 ul liDefine and track KPIs such as: /li liInventory turns days of inventory /li liPlan adherence /li liForecast accuracy (where applicable) /li liPrepare clear reports and dashboards for management review /li /ul h3Systems Process Improvement /h3 ul liEnsure data accuracy and discipline in planning systems (SAP) /li liDrive continuous improvement initiatives in planning logic, inventory rules, and processes /li liSupport digitalization and advanced planning tools where applicable /li /ul h3Required Qualifications Experience /h3 h3Education /h3 ul liDegree in bEngineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Economics /b, or equivalent /li /ul h3Experience /h3 ul lib5–10+ years /b of experience in planning and/or inventory management roles /li liStrong exposure to bmanufacturing or industrial environments /b /li liProven experience managing complex SKUs, variable demand, and capacity constraints /li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 ul liStrong knowledge of: /li liInventory management methodologies /li liMRP / ERP logic /li liAdvanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools is a plus /li liHands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset /li liStructured, process-oriented approach /li liAbility to manage trade-offs under pressure /li liExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills /li liData-driven, pragmatic, and results-oriented /li liComfortable operating in bdynamic, fast-changing environments /b /li /ul /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
