Experteer Overview

In this role you design, optimize and validate mechanical layouts and tooling for automated systems, supporting manufacturing and assembly across product lifecycles. You work with cross‑functional teams to translate specifications into robust mechanical solutions, ensuring quality and cost targets. You will oversee tooling, assemblies and supplier collaboration to resolve technical issues and improve product performance. This is a hands‑on role at a global leader shaping advanced electronics manufacturing.

Retribuzione / Benefits

- Mechanical design activities for machines/systems, independently and with the team
- Create project documentation: layouts, assemblies, BOMs, detailed designs
- Plan and document analyses and validation tests to improve products
- Propose design solutions to meet specs, optimize time and cost, coordinate with electrical/software/systems teams and with planning, supply chain and production
- Collaborate with supply chain and suppliers to identify components and critical parts, including co‑design activities




- Coordinate with documentation teams to produce manuals
- Support prototype assembly and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot mechanical and automation issues
- Monitor and report project progress
- Visit suppliers/customers to verify solutions and define mitigations

Responsabilità

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automation Engineering
- Experience in industrial automation and precision mechanics design (min 3years)
- Proficiency in CAD tools: Solidworks, SolidEdge, Creo, CatiaV5, Inventor, UnigraphicsNX, AutoCAD
- Proficiency in FEM and related tools
- Problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Multifunctional approach - electronics and mechanics (mechatronics)
- Good knowledge of English
- Willingness to travel internationally
