/p /brpCaterpillar is looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join a world-class Global Tax department, providing technical analysis across complex, material tax matters in a dynamic, multinational environment.
This is a senior individual?contributor role reporting to the EAME Tax Director, on an evolving business model that taps on your experience in the Big 4 or in industry.
/p /brh3What You Will Do: /h3 /brul /brliApply your international tax advisory expertise to support business expansion in a wide jurisdictional base, translate technical rules into clear, commercially-grounded advice for stakeholders, MA and restructuring, tax audit strategy and support, and assess the impact of evolving legislation.
/li /brliGiven Caterpillar's global footprint and growth ambitions, professionals with broad international tax experience in the Big 4 and/or in-house roles who are comfortable operating in fast-paced environments will find themselves ideally suited to this role.
/li /brliExperience in emerging markets will be useful in this role.

tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviours.
/li /brliProblem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
/li /brliInfluencing Through Expertise: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to use these to deepen own expertise to develop solutions that support the enterprise strategy.
/li /brliTax Advisory: Advising business partners on complex scenarios with an enterprise viewpoint, leveraging experience across broad jurisdictions with a deep knowledge of international tax concepts in MA, business expansion and tax audit management.
/li /brliTax Operations: Reviewing complex tax compliance utilizing technical rules and business facts.
/li /brliResearch Analysis: Able to conduct research on complex fact patterns and can interpret and evaluate research to support informed decision-making.
/li /br /ul /brh3Top Candidates Will Also Have: /h3 /brul /brliRecognised accounting or tax qualification.
/li /brli***** years of international tax experience in either practice or industry, including at least 5 years' experience managing cross-border tax structuring projects or advisory.
/li /brliStrong analytical skills with the ability to assess the broader environment when structuring advice and solutions.
/li /brliConfident self-starter with the ability to work independently in a demanding,



fast-paced environment whilst contributing to the overarching strategic direction of the department.
/li /brliExcellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with colleagues from different departments and cultures.
/li /brliFluency in English is essential; additional languages would be an advantage.
/li /br /ul /brh3Additional Information: /h3 /brul /brliA valid work permit or EU-25/EFTA citizenship is required for this position.
/li /brliThis role requires up to 10% of business travel time.
/li /brliThe position is hybrid and can be based either in Milan, Minerbio, or combination of both locations.
