Role Description
The Proposal Manager will lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of technical and commercial proposals for oil & gas and water treatment projects. This full-time, on-site role based in Occhiobello involves analyzing tender documents, defining proposal strategies, and working closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to develop competitive offers. The position includes preparing cost estimates, schedules, and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards. The Proposal Manager will track proposal progress, manage clarifications with clients, and support contract negotiations when required. The role also involves maintaining proposal templates and tools, monitoring market trends,



and contributing to continuous improvement of the bid process.

Qualifications

Strong technical background in oil & gas, petrochemical, or water treatment engineering, with experience in plant design, commissioning, or start-up.

Demonstrated ability in proposal management, including tender analysis, bid strategy development, and coordination of multidisciplinary inputs.

Solid skills in cost estimation, budgeting, and basic financial analysis related to EPC or engineering projects.

Proficiency in technical and commercial writing, with attention to detail and the ability to produce clear, structured proposal documents.

Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple deadlines.

Strong organizational and time-management capabilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Good command of MS Office and relevant engineering or project tools; familiarity with proposal or CRM systems is an advantage.

Fluency in English (written and spoken); Italian language skills and additional languages are considered beneficial.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; prior experience in an engineering or EPC company is preferred.

Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations in oil & gas and water treatment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
