/ph3Envision Your Future Job /h3pThe candidate will act as Product Design Engineer for Smart Eyewear project.
/ppHe/She will follow the project since the very beginning, actively participating to the Product Design phase, where a solid, proactive, and creative problem-solving approach is required, and supporting Product Development up until the launch to Mass Production.
/ppIn this role, the candidate will be responsible for the 3D Model design on CAD and modeling of complex smart eyewear systems in which aesthetics plays a key role.
The successful candidate should also be able to achieve a holistic understanding of the product and its functionalities.
/ppHe/She will work closely with Product Design Engineers, Industrial Designers, User Experience team, Quality, Manufacturing.




/ph3Areas Of Responsibilities And Related Activities /h3ulliDevelop and act as reference for the development of complex mechanical solutions as a member of a multi-disciplinary team /liliIdeate, design, build, test, and refine prototypes and characterization test systems /liliPush state-of-the-art technologies and approaches to solve complex mechanical problems /liliWork across the full product development cycle, especially from idea, to concept definition and to product finalization /liliCollaborate closely with industrial designers, UX team and quality.
/liliTravel to and support engineering builds and vendor visits /li /ulh3Main Requirements /h3ulliEducational Background in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Design /liliKnowledge and Experience of Parametric 3D Cad Software, better if Creo software /liliKnowledge and Experience on PDM, better if Windchill system /liliKnowledge on design and process of Injection molding /lili3+ years of industry experience in mechanical design or in mold Design /liliExperience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, geometric tolerancing, and 3D/2D CAD /liliKnowledge of design and simulation tools, prototyping tools, manufacturing technologies and materials.
/liliWorking knowledge in material properties, such as plastics, metal, adhesive, glass, etc.
/liliExperience building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
/liliExperience operating autonomously across multiple teams.




/liliHigh level of organizational skills /liliScientific approach and great problem-solving skills /liliAbility to operate in dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
/liliPrevious experience in Consumer Electronics Product Development is greatly appreciated.
