ppThe Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments, movement dysfunctions, or functional limitations.
/p pThis role focuses on restoring mobility, reducing pain, improving functional independence, and preventing disability through individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
/p pThe Physical Therapist collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liConduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments /li liDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings /li liProvide therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and functional training /li liMonitor patient progress, reassess outcomes, and modify treatment plans as needed /li liEducate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention /li liMaintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards /li liCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care /li liSupervise and support Physical Therapist Assistants and other clinical staff as applicable /li liEnsure patient safety,
proper body mechanics, and adherence to infection control practices /li liComply with ethical standards, state practice acts, and healthcare regulations /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liDoctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program /li liMust have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
/li liCurrent Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the applicable state /li liStrong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and rehabilitation principles /li liAbility to assess, diagnose, and treat patients across diverse age groups and conditions /li liExcellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills /li liProficiency with clinical documentation and electronic health record systems /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liPrior clinical experience in outpatient, inpatient, acute care, or rehabilitation settings /li liExperience treating orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, or post-surgical conditions /li /ul h3Certifications /h3 ul liCPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (if required by facility or state regulations) /li /ul /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
