/ph3Discover the Role /h3pThe primary responsibility of the Associate Accountant is to work with the Supervisor/Coordinator/Senior Accountant in meeting the accounting, tax and other reporting commitments of the relevant clients.
/ppShe/he is responsible for individual goals and helping to meet the wider departmental goals.
Furthermore, the Associate Accountant will ensure timely and quality accounts preparation and calculation and daily deliverables of excellent services to a portfolio of assigned clients.
/ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliAccounting entries /liliAssures compliance to VAT principles /liliCalculation of monthly withholding tax /liliPreparation of Tax return /liliCalculation of Italian Municipal Property taxes (IMU, TASI)



/liliCreates queries and reports on Payroll data /liliPrepares simple financial reports or supports Senior Associate Accountant in predisposing complex financial reports /liliEscalates to more senior members of staff relevant queries /liliSupports and manages clients and internal requests in a timely manner /li /ulh3Key Requirements /h3ulliIntermediate knowledge of English (B2) /liliExpertise in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) /liliKnowledge of Profis system is considered a plus /liliHigh School Diploma and/or Degree Economics /liliUp to 5 years' experience in similar Organizations /liliWorks in compliance with the TMF procedures and related standards of work /liliGood client services skills and ability to meet required deadlines /liliResponsible and organized /liliEnsure that all accounting procedures remain in line with applicable law and overall objectives /liliKnowledge of Accounting and budget account /liliOperational knowledge of VAT and other corporate taxation matters /liliWorking knowledge and understanding of international financial/capital markets and financial instruments /liliWorking knowledge of regulatory requirements for companies in Italy (Statutory deadlines, filing requirements etc.).
