In this role you will strengthen Deel's security posture across a globally distributed SaaS platform. You will lead automation of security tooling, integrate scanners into CI/CD, and help shape secure cloud infrastructure. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to embed security into development, operations, and compliance processes. - Develop and maintain automated security tools and CI/CD-integrated scanners to identify vulnerabilities
- Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure, network architecture, and deployment processes with proper access controls and encryption
- Implement continuous security monitoring, log analysis, intrusion detection, and system observability
- Foster collaboration between development, operations, and security teams to embed security requirements




- Assist with compliance assessments and audits, providing documentation and evidence of controls
- 3+ years in Security, SecOps, or DevSecOps
- Experience with policy-as-code and IaC security scanning tools such as Checkov, tfsec, or Terrascan
- WAF and firewall management (e.g., Cloudflare or equivalent)
- Knowledge of security principles, OWASP Top 10, encryption, authentication, access control, and security testing
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, configuration management, and monitoring/observability
- Ability to perform risk assessment, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response planning
- Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams; experience with automation tools and SAST/DAST
- Security certifications are advantageous
