About the role Satispay is building a comprehensive financial platform to empower users with tools for payments, savings, and investments. This role contributes to the core backend systems that drive user acquisition and engagement for their 6 million users. You will develop features that improve user onboarding, transaction management, and loyalty programs.

What you'll do

- Design, develop, and release product features, managing them from local development to production.
- Build and optimize systems for user onboarding, document verification, and security to ensure quick and safe transactions.
- Enhance the app experience by developing backend services for shop discovery, transaction management, and personalized user journeys through CRM integrations.
- Contribute to subscription plans, referral programs, and loyalty mechanics like points and rewards.
- Manage AWS infrastructure components such as EC2/ECS, S3, Lambda, and Kinesis, and improve microservice architecture.
- Utilize AI tools for code optimization, root cause analysis, and documentation generation.
- Write clean, testable code, participate in code reviews, and assist with incident resolution.
- Create clear technical documentation and align work with product and stakeholder roadmaps.





Requirements

- At least 1 year of experience as a Backend Engineer.
- Proven ability to build and maintain scalable microservices in fast-paced environments.
- Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
- Understanding of relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with cloud environments.
- Focus on performance and user experience.
- Structured approach to development and clear technical documentation.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Fluent in English.

Nice to have

- Experience or interest in building GenAI-driven features, including backend services using LLMs, orchestration frameworks like LangGraph, or AWS services like Amazon Bedrock.
- Interest in FinTech, user growth, or startup environments.
