Data Analyst - Finance at satispay. About the role Become an integral part of the Growth & Marketing team as the analytics lead focused on finance-related projects. In this role, you will influence financial planning, reporting, and operational strategies by creating analytical models and self-service data tools. Additionally, you will act as the key intelligence partner for investor relations, translating business performance into compelling narratives for leading venture capital firms.

What you'll do

- Develop comprehensive P&L; and cash flow analytics, along with models for monitoring plan versus actual performance and financial KPIs to facilitate effective business management.
- Serve as the primary analytics liaison for investor relations, crafting data-driven narratives that communicate performance insights to venture capital stakeholders.
- Collaborate across Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to transform intricate financial data into actionable recommendations for executives.
- Establish essential financial metrics and create dashboards that empower self-service reporting capabilities for Finance and senior leadership.
- Construct analytical frameworks that cover monetization strategies, unit economics, customer lifetime value (LTV), payback periods, cost structures, and revenue drivers.
- Innovate AI-assisted workflows to automate the detection of anomalies, highlight budget discrepancies, and enhance budgeting and re-forecasting processes.
- Contribute to the data mesh architecture by designing financial data models and pipelines that align with the company's federated data strategy.




- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to refine data processes and enhance the overall efficiency of financial analytics.

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in data-centric roles, including Data Engineering, Data Analytics, and Business Intelligence.
- At least 3 years of experience in environments that handle high volumes of data.
- Proven hands-on experience in financial data modeling, with a solid grasp of P&L; structures, cash flow analytics, and monitoring plan versus actual performance.
- Proficient in SQL, dbt, and Python.
- Demonstrated ability to design data models, construct ETL pipelines, and manage transformation layers at scale.
- Comfortable utilizing AI tools on a daily basis for analytics, automation, ad-hoc analyses, executive summaries, and business case development.
- Capable of dissecting complex financial challenges into manageable workstreams and providing evidence-based solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management abilities, with a track record of independently leading initiatives across Finance and Marketing domains.
- Familiarity with consumer lifecycle metrics, including Acquisition, Activation, Retention, and Monetization, as well as user economics such as ARPU, CAC, LTV, and Payback Period.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Hex, Looker, or similar platforms.

Nice to have

- Previous experience in or closely collaborating with Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;), or Controlling functions.
- Understanding of ERP data schemas, particularly SAP,



and the ability to model and transform financial data for analytical purposes.
- Familiarity with Git and notebook-based analytics tools such as Hex, Databricks, or Jupyter.
- Knowledge of SAP Public Cloud.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency with Claude.
- Experience interacting with AI agents programmatically through APIs.
- Background knowledge of Fintech-specific KPIs and industry dynamics.
