If you are an engineering-minded data analyst ready to get hands‐on on a Data Platform supercharged with AI this role is for you. You will join Moneyfarm's Data Team as a Data Analyst working closely with either product verticals (Trading, Wealth, Pension, Acquisition) or CEO office.
You will act as the Data Enabler for your working group, turning raw data into trusted, well-defined information that product managers, business stakeholders (including C-level) and engineers can act on autonomously. With surface-level output produced by AI, your job will be to orchestrate that work and be accountable for it: reviewing code, creating data models, writing tests, and curating the context our AI agents rely on. You will own the analytical narrative and KPIs of your area and safeguard the quality of its data.
Build a profound understanding of the business context you will be embedded into Direct AI tools to build queries, dashboards and reports, and take full accountability for the output Design, build and maintain analytics-ready DBT data models, applying software-engineering best practices to analytics code Own the design, definitions, implementation and exhibition of KPIs and metrics for your working group Act as an Data Enabler with your stream aligned group, facilitating access to data and analysis adjusting to different levels of support for different stakeholders.
Foster trust towards Data Analytics outputs: proactively catch and handle data quality issues.
Refine loosely defined questions into structured analysis plans with clear scope, timelines and tradeoffs. Investigate and interpret data to generate insights that inform business decisions Contribute the evolution of our Data Platform, with a focus on its AI capabilities: curate the semantic layer, build skills, explore opportunities for further enhancements 2 years of relevant work experience in data analytics or related areas BSc or higher degree in a quantitative discipline (Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or similar) Experience in fintech / wealth management is a plus Strong curiosity in exploring data and extracting meaningful insights, supported by attention to detail Sound statistical reasoning and commercial awareness; able to connect analysis to the business decision it supports Strong SQL is essential.
DBT, Airflow and Python are strong plus Strong experience with BI tools: Tableau, Metabase, Looker and similar. Solid software-engineering fundamentals: version control (Git), branching, code review, CI/CD, CLI usage AI fluency: able to direct AI effectively, detect and handle hallucinations Fluency in English is essential (most stakeholders are UK-based) We apply CCNL Credito and based on candidate's experience and skills, we will assign the title of Analytics Professional . 32,000 - €40,000 gross/year + bonus, based on experience/competences demonstrated This role is based in our Milan or Cagliari office and our lavoro da remoto policy requires as a minimum 2 days of in-office presence per week.
