Job Mission: As a Senior R&D; Designer, you will drive the development of advanced custom and special solutions for customer applications worldwide. You will work closely with Product Engineering (PE),



key customers and the R&D; team to transform complex requirements into robust, innovative and industrialized designs that strengthen Piab's position as a global leader in automation and vacuum technology.
Key Responsibilities: Support Product Engineers (PEs) globally with custom requests by analyzing needs and proposing feasible technical solutions.
Provide direct technical support to key customers, especially for critical applications, acting as a senior technical counterpart in discussions and design reviews.
Lead the design and development of high-level, complex custom and special solutions, from concept to released design.
Use CAD (Inventor and/or SolidWorks) to create 3D models, assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings, ensuring high quality and manufacturability.
Work efficiently with PDM/PLM systems to manage product data, revisions, and documentation in line with internal standards.
