This research activity is aligned with the research agenda of the Gianfranco Ferré Research Center, which focuses on the development and application of digital technologies for the enhancement, interpretation, and transmission of Fashion Heritage. The research investigates the role of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in fashion heritage design processes, exploring its potential as a tool for interpreting, reactivating, and communicating the design, manufacturing, and cultural knowledge embedded in archival collections. Particular attention is devoted to the design of exhibition experiences and interactive digital environments centred on User Experience (UX), enabling visitors to explore the implicit layers of knowledge preserved within fashion archives while fostering new forms of access, interpretation, mediation, and engagement for diverse audiences.
