ppWe're hiring: Principal FPGA Engineer – Communications Test Measurement /p pLocation: Turin, Italy, or remote within Italy (depending on the selected candidate's location) /p pWe are looking for an experienced bPrincipal FPGA Engineer /b to join an international team developing next-generation bcommunications test, monitoring and assurance solutions /b for the telecommunications, cloud, aerospace, defence, railway and industrial sectors. /p pThis is an opportunity to take ownership of the complete FPGA architecture of cutting-edge products and to work on high-performance, multi-gigabit designs in a highly innovative environment. /p h3Your responsibilities /h3 ul liDefine and drive end-to-end FPGA architecture. /li liLead architecture decisions, IP selection, floor-planning strategies and timing closure activities. /li liAct as the main technical reference point for FPGA design and debugging activities. /li liMentor engineers and support system integration and board bring-up activities. /li liCollaborate closely with global engineering teams. /li /ul h3Required qualifications and experience /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field. /li liExcellent experience in bFPGA design and architecture /b. /li liExtensive hands-on experience with bVerilog, SystemVerilog and/or VHDL /b. /li liStrong expertise in mbulti-Gbps SerDes, transceivers, PLLs and high-speed Ethernet technologies. /b /li liExperience with optical interfaces and modules (SFP, QSFP).



/li liKnowledge of networking protocols, including VLAN, MPLS, VPLS, VoIP and IPTV. /li liSolid experience with AMD/Xilinx or Altera FPGA platforms. /li liExperience with formal verification methodologies and UVM. /li liExperience with Git and collaborative development environments. /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liPublications or patents related to FPGA design, DSP or high-speed digital systems. /li liExperience with PCIe, DSP systems and high-speed digital board design. /li liFamiliarity with Siemens Questa, Aldec Riviera or similar tools. /li liExperience using AI-based tools to support FPGA development activities. /li /ul h3Salary expectations /h3 pThe salary range provided is indicative and will be evaluated based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and overall profile.
