- Market trips preparation.
- Spends time travelling in the domestic and in other markets.




- Develops an understanding of the appropriate quantities to buy according to OTB guidelines and for optimal store presentation.
- Develops and maintains market relationships and presence.
- Support Buyer in developing and maintaining market relationships with vendors and open new accounts under guidance of the MM/BM/Buyer
- Understands and determines value through the edit/selection process, evaluating fashion, quality, price and brand as it relates to the buying dept.
- Aggressively shops our stores and competition, including print, internet and TV, to study and critique merchandise mix, price points, and labels identifying competitive issues and/or opportunities.
- Negotiates basic purchases within set parameters.
- Take full Buying and negotiation responsibility for own category within the Department under guidance of the MM/BM/Buyer
- Performs various analysis to be used in developing seasonal strategy. Analyzes key reports associated with Buying. Identifies and reviews business trends with Buyers and MMs. **WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:You** Experience as a Buyer in **apparel, accessories or home department**, possibly in international retail companies with a focus on sourcing and/or buying is requested, preferably with European brands & vendors. **LANGUAGES**
