About Our Client For a German company, global market leader in the design and manufacture of precision static and driven tool holders for the machine tool industry, we are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to develop the Italian market.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and developing the existing distributor network as well as direct OEM/end-user accounts across Italy;
- Providing technical and commercial support to distributors and their end customers on-site;
- Identifying and acquiring new business, targeting both SME and major industrial companies and managing customer projects from initial contact through to order placement;
- Representing the company at trade fairs and industry events in Italy and abroad;
- Reporting directly to the European Sales Director in Germany.
Job Requirements Key Skills :
- 10+ years of experience in technical sales, with in-depth knowledge of the machine tool/metalworking sector (turning and milling);
- Proven track record in B2B sales and key account management for capital equipment products in manufacturing;
- Technical background (mechanical engineering, technical diploma, or equivalent field experience);
- Native Italian speaker with fluent English or German;
- Willingness to travel 3-4 days per week (including overnight stays) across Northern and Central Italy.
Complementary Skills
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. MS Dynamics/Business Central);
- Customer-oriented, results-driven and autonomous in planning visits and reporting.
Other Info Location: Home-office based position with frequent travel across Northern and Central Italy. Residence preferably in the Milan area.

Contract Offered CCNL Servizi. Compensation Fixed gross annual salary around € 65,000 + commissions and premio (up to € 80,000-90,000 as total package) + company car.
