Experteer Overview As a System Engineer, you will lead technical delivery and coordinate proactive service support for complex customer environments. You'll act as the trusted technical contact for key Italian customers, collaborating with global delivery and operations teams to sustain service health and performance. You will combine hands-on expertise with strong coordination and customer-facing skills to drive service excellence and continuous improvement.
The role is Milan-based with on-site engagement and potential future hybrid flexibility, focused on delivering value through ITIL-driven processes and close customer partnerships.
Retribuzione / Benefits Act as the technical lead for assigned customers to ensure service health and performance
Collaborate with internal technical teams to understand and deliver customer requirements
Manage and prioritise customer requests for timely resolution and premium service delivery
Participate in technical discussions and provide input on operational issues and improvements
Lead operational meetings, handle inquiries, and manage escalations or critical incidents
Monitor and improve SLA performance in coordination with Service Delivery/Customer Service Managers
Ensure smooth transition of services into operations
Oversee and coordinate patching and maintenance activities with customers and internal teams
Support sales and service management in identifying opportunities for service improvements and growth
Operate within ITIL processes to ensure structured, high-quality service delivery
Responsabilità Minimum 3-5 years in technical support roles within infrastructure services
Strong coordination skills across multiple technical teams in a global environment
Hands-on expertise in at least two: VMware/vCloud, Microsoft technologies, Linux, storage, backup, or networking
Experience in ITIL-based service management environments
Proven ability to manage customer relationships, escalations, and operational performance
Strong problem-solving, communication, and influencing skills
Ability to work independently with a proactive and structured approach
Italian language proficiency at C2/native-level and fluent English
