Responsibilities:

-

- Conduct design research into material culture, scientific iconography, and symbolic object design with specific reference to South Tyrol's research ecosystem.

- Develop concepts and design proposals for prize objects for the South Tyrol Research Award and Women in Science Award.

- Produce physical models, mock‑ups, and prototypes using the Faculty of Design and Art workshops and unibz Fablab.





- Carry out iterative material exploration and craft‑based experimentation in support of the design development process.

- Collaborate with the project PI in design‑research sprints, evaluation cycles, and refinement of prototypes.

- Support the documentation of the design and prototyping process for the project publication.

- Contribute to the pre‑production of final prize objects for the 2027 and 2028 award ceremonies. xysqume
