The primary objective of the role is to bprevent accidents and incidents /b, fostering a proactive safety culture and supporting continuous improvement across all operations. /ph3bJob Scope / Dimensions /b /h3pThis position is part of the bPerformance Minerals EMEA Business Area /b, which encompasses: /pullib80 sites /b across b24 countries /b /lilib3,700 employees /b /lilib€1.2 billion revenue /b /li /ulh3bItaly Denmark Hub /b /h3ullib8 factories /b, b4 open-pit operations /b, b1 underground mine /b, and b1 logistics platform /b /liliApproximately b300 employees /b /lilib€100 million sales /b /li /ulh3bKey Tasks and Responsibilities /b /h3ulliAct as the EHS lead for the Hub, partnering with the Hub Director to ensure compliance, excellence, and alignment with corporate objectives. /liliDefine and prioritize EHS annual objectives in line with the Business Area roadmap and the Imerys Safety System. /liliPromote and embed a strong safety culture across all Hub sites. /liliDrive continuous improvement by supporting sites in risk prevention and the implementation of improvement action plans. /liliLead the accident management process, ensuring timely reporting, root cause analysis, and definition of corrective actions in collaboration with site and local EHS managers.



/liliEnsure compliance of industrial and mining operations with local environmental regulations, CSRD requirements, and Imerys internal standards through regular assessments and gap analyses. /liliCollaborate with Hub Operations Managers, Site Managers, and on-site EHS teams to deploy initiatives and provide guidance on EHS-related CapEx. /liliFoster proactive networking and knowledge sharing of best practices across the Hub. /liliMaintain close coordination with Hub Managers, Business Area EHS Managers, Site Managers, and local EHS contacts for program deployment and performance alignment. /liliMay act as EHS Manager for the Hub’s lead site when required. /li /ulh3bIdeal Background / Experience /b /h3ulliEngineering degree or equivalent qualification /liliStrong command of bEnglish and Italian /b (knowledge of Danish is a plus) /liliMinimum b5 years of experience /b in EHS management within industrial operations /liliProven track record managing multiple sites and driving a safety culture /li /ulh3bKey Competencies /b /h3ulliStrong knowledge of bSafety Management Systems /b and industrial operations /liliIn-depth understanding of blocal and industrial EHS regulations /b /lilibEngaged, self-driven, pragmatic, /b and bresults-oriented /b approach /lilibStructured /b and analytical working style with effective problem-solving skills /liliExcellent communication skills, capable of engaging with employees at all levels — from shop floor to senior management — as well as with contractors, consultants, and authorities /liliAbility to binfluence, coach, create synergies /b, and blead cross-site programs and projects /b /liliContinuous improvement mindset and commitment to excellence /liliWillingness and ability to travel up to b50% /b of the time across Italy and Denmark. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
