Reporting directly to the Italy HSE manager and Plant Director, you will be based in Merlino (LO): You take over the management of Health, Safety, and Environmental protection (HSE) at our site and supervise by persona the Legnano (MI) site for all HSE aspects (availability to travel weekly to the site). Safety is at the center of everything we do, and our “Zero Beyond” mission aims at building a culture of prevention that integrates safety, health, and well-being, at work and beyond. You will support our organization in realizing and maintaining our ambitious safety vision. /p /brpWe will offer you a very challenging position as the Merlino and Legnano plants are growing which also requires a further step-up on the safety culture. You can make a significant impact on the health and safety of our employees. /p /brh3You will be responsible for: /h3 /brul /brliCompliance – our license to operate: ensure implementation and compliance with (legal) requirements, ISO standards 14001/45001/50001, internal standards, and (environmental) permits. /li /brliSafety Culture Zero Beyond: establish and implement actions to comply with the company programs aimed at nurturing an open health and safety culture throughout the entire organization. Drive and ensure execution of actions aimed at improving the maturity level of the company in all roles and areas and be a leading example. /li /brliCommunication: Effectively communicate with management, employees, and regulatory agencies regarding health, safety, and environmental matters. Enable communication at the site level through the deployment of safety talks, safety alerts, and safety observations. /li /brliSafety Equipment and Procedures: Ensure the availability and proper use of safety equipment,



PPE’s and promote safe work procedures. /li /brliIncident Investigation: Lead near miss and incident investigations, ensure effective management of outcomes and lessons learned. /li /brliHSE Audits: Conduct regular occupational health and safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement in all areas of the factory. /li /brliSafety Training: Develop and conduct safety training programs for employees to raise awareness and promote a culture of safety. /li /brliRisk Management: Plan, execute, coordinate, and follow up on risk assessments. /li /brliEmergency Preparedness: Head of the emergency response organization, maintain the emergency response plan, organize training and exercises. /li /brliHealth and Safety reporting: Analyze and report on health and safety performance metrics (safety observations, near misses, accidents with and without lost time), both internally and to government bodies as applicable. /li /brliFacilities: Infrastructure management and verification of compliance with occupational Health and Safety regulations. /li /br /ul /brh3You are the right fit if you have/are: /h3 /brul /brliFluent in English /li /brliDegree in a related field such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering. /li /brliUp to minimum 5 years of experience as an HSE Manager in a production environment, preferably within complex manufacturing industries. /li /brliCertification as Responsible for the Prevention and Protection Service (RSPP) in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree 81/08. /li /brliIn-depth knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, risk management, emergency response, and safety management systems, with a focus on influencing people. /li /brliFormal safety qualifications: Experience with ISO 45001/14001. In addition, experience with ISO 50001 is an advantage. /li /brliInternal Auditor certification is an advantage, with experience in conducting integrated audit programs. /li /brliStrong communication interpersonal skills /li /brliDecision making attitude,
