Employment We are looking for highly motivated PhD or MD scientists who are passionate about studying stem cells or cancer at the single-cell level. Our lab offers a collaborative, multidisciplinary research environment and innovative projects designed to support your scientific growth and career development. We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds, particularly in the following areas: single-cell analysis, high-throughput sequencing, imaging and image analysis, biostatistics and bioinformatics, machine learning, stem cell and cancer biology.

Graduate Student Positions

We welcome enthusiastic graduate students from any USC graduate programs to join our multidisciplinary research group. Interested students are encouraged to contact Dr. Rong Lu at [email protected] to learn more about potential wet lab and dry lab projects.





Prospective USC students interested in joining our lab are encouraged to apply through the Programs in Biomedical and Biological Sciences (PIBBS) at the Keck School of Medicine, the PhD Program in Biomedical Engineering (BME) at the Viterbi School of Engineering, or the Gerontology and Biology of Aging PhD Programs at the School of Gerontology.

Positions for Undergraduate and Master’s Students

We are seeking enthusiastic undergraduates (freshmen and sophomores) and master’s students with strong programming and statistics skills, or with strong interest and commitment to gaining wet lab experience.
