In Milan, within an international environment, we are looking for an Apparel Merchandising Manager (M/W)!

Reporting to the Head of Merchandising, the Merchandising Manager (M/W) delivers strategic vision and operational excellence to drive category growth, market share, and profitability. By owning the seasonal merchandise brief, defining global pricing architecture, and managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, this role ensures successful collection launches into market.
Acting as a critical cross-functional hub, the Merchandising Manager (M/W) bridges Design, Product Development, and Planning with Commercial and Marketing teams to synchronize market trends, maximize margins, and deliver compelling category stories across all channels. Your missions will include :
Lead specific management of the categories in scope by bringing strategic vision and operational excellence in executing merchandising strategies.
Collaborate closely with Design, Production Development & Planning teams to monitor product execution and ensure the best assortment on offer.
Analyze market needs to help define sales strategies that will increase turnover and market share.
Keep up to date with market trends and follow the competition.
Ensure close collaboration with Commercial teams & present seasonal collection plans & strategies at Key Commercial milestones.
Lead lobal Price positioning & architecture and be responsible for the flat margin of the product category.
Ensure the management of the flow of products seasonally and the lifecycle of the products cross-seasonally.
Own the merchandise brief at the beginning of the season, setting commercial direction of the collection.
Collaborate with marketing function on seasonal category stories and support on delivering marketing tools (consumer product agevolazioni communication and system maintenance, product cards, seasonal looks). Your background :
A bachelor's degree in business/merchandising or a related area is required.
Masters
Preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in outdoor / sport / lifestyle industry gained through product merchandising, product line management or similar. Your skills :
Excellent commercial skills with the ability to build strategic partnerships in Direct-to-consumer, Partner, and Wholesale accounts.
A balance of financial acumen and product vision is your secret weapon
Excellent written and oral communication with the ability to inspire and lead internally and externally through words and presentations.
Comprehensive experience with leading merchandising and long-range planning for a global apparel, from ideation through consumer experience.
Strong background in storytelling, competitor analysis, market opportunities, and trend forecasting. Industry leader with a background in storytelling, competitor analysis, market opportunities and trend forecasting.
Well-organized with focused attention to detail. An experienced and proactive problem solver. Fluent verbal and written in English. French, and/or Italian is a plus Expert level PPT, EXCEL, PLM Management Joining the Group and its Rossignol brands also means :
