The candidate will carry out research and development activities in the field of computer vision and machine learning applied to environmental monitoring. The position involves the design of advanced algorithms for the analysis and interpretation of complex scenarios (e.g., environmental monitoring and marine scenarios).

Specifically, the researcher will be responsible for: Studying and developing Deep Learning and Computer Vision models for the analysis of images and environmental data; Implementing AI solutions for anomaly detection, ecological monitoring, territorial resilience, and biodiversity; Experimenting with Explainable AI (XAI) techniques and uncertainty quantification to ensure transparency and trustworthiness in data processing; Collaborating on the dissemination of results through scientific publications and participation in international workshops, in line with the objectives of the IMAGINE project. xrdztoy Italy Eligibility of fellows: country/ies of residence: Italy EUROPE OTHER E.U.
