Head of Wealth Management – Milan (Italy)

Lead the next chapter of a prestigious international Private Bank.

Our client, a renowned international Private Bank, is looking to appoint a Head of Private Banking to lead and accelerate the development of its Milan office.

This is a strategic leadership role combining commercial development, people management and business leadership , with direct visibility at executive level.

Head of Wealth Management: Your responsibilities

- Lead and develop the Private Banking business in Milan.
- Manage, coach and inspire a team of experienced Private Bankers, fostering a strong commercial culture and high level of performance.
- Lead by example by remaining personally involved in client acquisition, relationship management and asset gathering.
- Continue to manage and develop your own portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients alongside your managerial responsibilities.
- Leverage your existing client portfolio and professional network, with the ability to transfer and onboard significant assets.
- Define and execute the commercial strategy for the Italian market in close collaboration with senior management.
- Drive business growth through your personal network, market credibility and direct contribution to new asset acquisition.
- Support Private Bankers in developing their portfolios, converting business opportunities and increasing assets under management.
- Develop long-term relationships with entrepreneurs, UHNW individuals, family businesses,



professional intermediaries and key business introducers.
- Act as an ambassador for the bank across the Italian wealth management ecosystem.
- Work closely with senior management on the long-term development and positioning of the Italian franchise.

Head of Wealth Management: Your profile:

- Extensive experience in Private Banking or Wealth Management.
- Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing commercial teams.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and grow senior bankers.
- Established reputation within the Italian wealth management market.
- Leading a portfolio and able to bring assets
- Ability to contribute to new asset acquisition and business development.
- Entrepreneurial mindset combined with excellent relationship management skills.
- Fluent Italian and English are required.
